WLSA Convergence Summit

DDSTUDIO was proud to participate in the WLSA Convergence Summit 2013, held at the Omni Hotel San Diego, May 28-30. The Summit is an annual, internationally significant event for the wireless health community, showcasing thought leaders, entrepreneurs and investors in this rapidly growing domain.

Charles and Ant led an interactive session entitled “Bang the Drum”, in which DD facilitators helped Summit attendees create communication concepts to promote the benefits of connected health. The participants ate it up, ‘leaning in’ to form 21 teams, brainstorm ideas and sketch their concepts. Three teams were awarded prizes by the judges, but everyone was a winner – every participant will have access to all of the session materials for their later use.

As healthcare continues to blur into wellness and prevention, the demand for innovative products and services only grows faster. There’s a huge opportunity to empower consumers and healthcare providers, helping consumers make better-informed health decisions and helping healthcare providers deliver more efficiently and effectively. We had a great time at the Summit, and look forward to helping lead the charge towards connected health.
