If you were to look back from the age of 80 and give yourself advice for right now, what would it be?

Looking back on my life, I feel content with how I generally lived it on my own terms. However, if I were to offer advice to my present self from the perspective of an 80-year-old, I would suggest reflecting more before making significant decisions rather than impulsively acting. I would also recommend selecting clients and work that would allow me to make a greater impact on people’s lives through my designs. Additionally, I would encourage taking advantage of more travel opportunities to immerse myself in other cultures. Lastly, I would advise taking weekends off during the first 15 years of running a company.

What do you love most about your daily work at DDSTUDIO?

I love that I work with creative people who I respect and like. We have different projects and different teams all the time. Whether it’s contributing to inventing new experiences or bringing existing products into tomorrow’s world, it’s always innovative and creative.
