Pediatric physician practices spend hours each week managing their patient’s vaccine inventory. Counting, ordering, verifying temperatures and expiration dates. Many adult physicians choose to not stock vaccines at all because of the labor-intensive protocol and expense. This means they can’t help protect their patients and community from vaccine-preventable diseases at the time that is most convenient — when their patients are in their office.
TruMed Systems founders, senior healthcare executives, understood the industry’s challenge of managing a successful vaccine and inventory system. They came to DDSTUDIO to design and develop AccuVax. The first of its kind automated, cloud connected, HIPAA compliant, compact vaccine management system solution.
TruMed products are purpose-built to reduce cost and improve outcomes within healthcare by creating innovative, efficient, effective point-of-care supply management systems.
TruMed engaged DDSTUDIO to design + develop the first and second generation AccuVax System. They wanted a design that fit into the flow of the physician’s practices: both in the flow and in the esthetic. We partnered with D&K Engineering for the second generation design + development to improve internal functionality and reduce the cost of manufacturing.
